5 Key Content Planner Tools I Love

In 2017 I finally left my corporate sales career after 25 years to start my own blog and e-commerce business. What a learning curve it has been and continues to be. I found myself constantly juggling several balls in the air with tasks piling up and no game plan on how to meet so many deadlines.

My store and blog site has since been re-vamped three times because as the concept evolved, it required necessary adjustments to improve the business.

My initial goal for 2017 was to be able to earn an income from my business by offering products that I love from places around the world where I have travelled. I am so thankful that my business has attracted sales and new customers this year.

I now want to set new goals that will take me to the next level in 2018 which starts in a few days!!!

I want to share with you a great new tool that I have been adopting to better prepare me in achieving those goals.

5 Key Content Planner Tools I Love For Achieving My 2018 Goals

  1. At the beginning of each month I get to set up 4 new goals; add new hashtags and list desired collaborations.  I then breakdown the necessary action plans on a daily and weekly basis to work toward these goals. This has reduced my anxiety level tremendously because everything is now organized and documented in my Content Planner calendar. I can just tick off the tasks once they are completed.
  2. There is an Easy to Set Up tool with monthly stickers.  The Content Planner provides you with the tools to plan each month with stickers such as the To Do List, Important, Idea, Post, ✅, and even a Me Time. It also has all of the months in stickers so you can start or pause the planner at anytime during the year.  The social media stickers are useful for posting daily content.
  3. One can track monthly business growth. On the left side for each month is a place for tracking follower increases, customer email lists and sales increases. This is great for looking at the progression of your social media  and business accounts so that adjustments can be made when planning for the next month.
  4. The Content Planner tip: If you have more than one social media account you can write your strategies and action plans in two different coloured pens to keep them separate and clear on the pages. For me, having a blog and a business with an instagram account for each, I can now integrate and separate as needed without getting confused about my overall vision for each.
  5. A Task and Tips section found along the bottom of the pages are useful suggestions on little work habits you can develop to be more productive and efficient.

I have completed January and planning February 2018. It feels good to get a head start.  So ready for 2018!
