Men’s fashion week does not get the same attention as the women’s shows but this year could be a game-changer. There were many great shows on the runway this year including Kenzo, Dunhill, Paul Smith and Hermès, but for me, the highlight of the Milan Fashion Week has to be luxury brand Dolce and Gabbana’s Fall 2018 menswear line.
Young, formal, fresh, clean lines was the theme of the show. Dolce and Gabbana’s take on the tuxedo, men’s suits and winter coat mixed the traditional with the modern in a very sleek way. These designs actually allows men to look masculine but polished; hip but proper all at the same time. I especially loved the clean lines of the pencil shaped pant as well as the rich colours and patterns of the suits and shirts.
Bellisimo!
